In 2011, I completed a postgraduate specialization in small animal internal medicine, and in 2022, I obtained a Master's degree in extracorporeal purification therapies in human medicine, accredited by international University isabel I de Castilla. Currently, I am pursuing the Renal Replacement Therapies Master's program at the Hemodialysis Academy of the ACVNU, under the guidance of Dr. Larry P. Cowgill. Since 2021, I have been working with the VetSmart team, providing hemodialysis and hemofiltration treatments for a caseload of 25-30 patients per year. In 2025, I founded a feline-exclusive hospital where renal replacement therapy is one of our core specialties. In this center, I discovered nephrourology and dialysis as a treatment technique for acute kidney disease with the help of Beatriz Lopez Perea.
