Biography:
Beatriz LópezPerea Veterinarian specialized in feline medicine, internal medicine, and renal replacement therapies I graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2005. In 2011, I completed a postgraduate specialization in small animal internal medicine, and in 2022, I obtained a Master's degree in extracorporeal purification therapies in human medicine, accredited by international University isabel I de Castilla. Currently, I am pursuing the Renal Replacement Therapies Master's program at the Hemodialysis Academy of the ACVNU, under the guidance of Dr. Larry P. Cowgill. Since 2021, I have been working with the VetSmart team, providing hemodialysis and hemofiltration treatments for a caseload of 25-30 patients per year. In 2025, I founded a feline-exclusive hospital where renal replacement therapy is one of our core specialties. My clinical approach is based on scientific rigor, technical precision, and a deep commitment to feline health and well-being.

Biography:
I am Elena Fernandez Sanz, I completed my veterinary medicine studies at the Alfonso X el Sabio University, I completed the rotating internship for small animals at the hospital of the same university, during my free weekends, I worked at another hospital as an emergency veterinarian. Later that year, I started working at Albea Anicura as an emergency veterinarian. In this center, I discovered nephrourology and dialysis as a treatment technique for acute kidney disease with the help of Beatriz Lopez Perea. I currently work at a center specialized in feline medicine called De Gatitos, with focus on nephrourology as main specialty.
