Dr. Rebecca Walton earned her veterinary degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. She completed her small animal rotating internship at the University of Minnesota. She then completed her Emergency and Critical Care Residency at North Carolina State University and became board-certified in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine in 2016. Dr. Walton was an associate professor at Iowa State University from 2016 until 2022 and graduated from the Hemodialysis Academy in 2020. Dr. Walton began plasmapheresis at VCA West Los Angeles in 2023 and has a passion for this procedure in the management of acute toxicity and immune-mediated disease.
