Biography:
Dr. Brandi Mattison is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine (2002). Following graduation, Dr. Mattison practiced general medicine in Spokane, Washington where she developed an interest in emergency and critical care medicine. In 2007, Dr. Mattison pursued advanced training and completed an emergency and critical care internship at Michigan State University. She stayed at MSU for a residency in emergency and critical care medicine and completed her training in 2011. Dr. Mattison’s special interests include disorders of coagulation, acute kidney injury, mechanical ventilation and care of the critically ill post-operative patient. While at MSU, she received advanced training in mechanical ventilation, peritoneal dialysis, transfusion medicine, as well as many advanced surgical and monitoring techniques. Dr. Mattison is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
