Biography:
Dr. Brovida graduated with honors in Turin in 1974. Since 1976, after his military service as an Official Veterinarian, he devoted himself to the clinic for small animals, with a special interest in internal medicine and nephrology - urology of small animals. He is currently the Medical Director of the ' Hospital for Companion Animals ANUBI® Moncalieri, near Turin, which he founded in 1992 and where, since 1996, has organized a hemodialysis center for small animals. He has published in journals and textbooks specialized national and international, and has participated actively participates as a speaker at national and international conferences. He was President of the Italian Association of Veterinarians for Small Animals (AIVPA), President of the European Society of Veterinary Nephrology and Urology (ESVNU), President of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA), is currently a member of the International Renal Interest Society (IRIS) and WSAVA Renal Standardization Study Group.
