Biography:
Dr. VanDerslice grew up in Olympia, WA and attended vet school at Washington State University where she graduated in 2020. Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship at The Ohio State University and a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA. After passing board exams in 2024, she completed an additional year of training as a fellow in extracorporeal therapies at North Carolina State University before moving to Portland OR where she is working to establish extracorporeal service to serve the greater PNW. Her clinical interests include use of dialysis, plasma exchange and hemoperfusion in the management of kidney injuries, immune mediated diseases and toxicities as well as an interest in sepsis and multiorgan failure, traumas and neonatal kitten management.
